Nimesh is the co-founder and CEO of trica, a technology platform to manage equity and facilitate investments across growth-stage private companies, unicorns and global funds. trica is part of the LetsVenture Group – India’s most trusted and active investment platform for early stage startups.

Nimesh is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and a Chartered Accountant with more than a decade of experience in banking and financial services. Prior to joining LetsVenture, Nimesh led the Investor Relations function at Kotak Mahindra Bank, the 7th largest company in India in terms of market capitalization ($40 bn). Earlier, he was part of the strategy team that planned and analyzed new initiatives, alliances, partnerships and inorganic opportunities for Kotak Group. Some marquee transactions he has worked on include the Kotak Mahindra Bank merger with ING Vysya Bank, a 15% share purchase of MCX (India’s largest commodity exchange). He held various roles with the bank, ranging from proprietary investment desk, management and reporting to piloting expansionary projects. He co-founded Svasti Microfinance in Mumbai, with which he was associated for a couple of years. Before joining Kotak Mahindra Bank, he worked with ICICI Bank in their Finance department.

Nimesh is also the founding venture partner for the recently launched revenue based financing fund

N+1 Capital and advisor to Campus Fund and has been recently recognised in the list of top 40 angel

investors in India.

Nimesh has been a guest speaker across various forums such as ICVA, eDC IITD, Family Offices World to name a few. Nimesh has been featured on prominent news channels like CNBC & ET Now.

On the personal front, he loves to spend quality time with his family and is a proud father to his 13-year-old son. Nimesh is an avid reader and coin collector. He enjoys playing games like chess and uses it as an opportunity to teach life lessons. He is always in pursuit of new cuisines and fine wines to try and you can often find him in a cafe immersed in coffee and conversation. In his free time, he likes to socialize and network with people.
