Amar Shankar is a Partner with EY India and has more than 20 years of experience in Consulting for Government and Public Sector clients. His area of specialisation has been advising Governments and international funding agencies on private sector development with an emphasis on strengthening micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) Ecosystems. He has led publicly funded transformation programs in entrepreneurship development, cluster development, incubation and improving access to technology and markets for MSMEs in India and other emerging countries. He is an evangelist of democratising technology to improve competitiveness of small businesses and has been involved in supporting digital initiatives including the recent support to Open Network for Digital Commerce. He is a Graduate in Business Studies from Delhi University and holds a PG Diploma in Management from International Management Institute.
