T Koshy is the Chief Executive Officer of ONDC the company established recently with an objective to strengthen and transform the ecommerce sector in India with a broad-based participation from both buyers and sellers across the country. He has a unique distinction of playing key roles in multiple transformation projects involving digital solutions to population scale problems.

Prior to assuming this role,T Koshy served as the Senior Partner with Ernst & Young (India) in the Government & Public Sector Practice, leading consulting practice in Identity & Social Protection, Digital Service Delivery, Health, Education and Public Finance. and was involved in multiple projects in India and other developing countries. Major Projects in India in which he has played key roles include, Unique Identity (Aadhaar) Vaccine Intelligence Network, National digital education platform, GSTN, Co-WIN etc . He has also been supporting many global projects funded by Developmental Agencies like the World Bank& ADB in the area of Identity & Social Protection.

Koshy joined EY after his stint as the Executive Director of National Securities Depository Limited, the first securities depository in India, which completely changed the phase of the Indian Capital Market.He was part of the start-up team that set up NSDL During his tenure in NSDL he spearheaded the foray of NSDL into non-depository areas which include Tax Information Network (TIN) set up by NSDL on behalf of  Direct Tax Authority  Central Record Keeping Agency for New Pension Scheme, SEZ online, pilot implementation of GSTN etc..

He also acted as a resource person for a number of initiatives like Tax Administrative Reform Commission (TARC), Unique Id project, Expenditure Information Network, project PLATINUM for developing legal and IT framework for the guaranteed land title of Ministry of Urban Development, Common Data Repository for Insurance Sector, E-Stamping, Automation of VAT functions and in a number of international assignments on behalf of the World Bank and the ADB

He holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a postgraduate degree in management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
