He has nearly 25 years of professional experience in advising domestic and international fund clients on legal, regulatory and tax matters involving structuring and organisation of funds/investment platforms. His clients include funds across asset classes ranging from angel, venture capital, private equity, real estate, credit, distress assets, hedge funds, REITs, INVITs etc. He also advises clients on corporate transactions involving M&A, private equity and real estate investments and joint ventures.

Besides advising clients on traditional fund structures, he has also been very actively involved with establishment of bespoke investment platforms spanning across asset classes ‐ private equity/venture capital, venture debt, structured credit, distress assets, infrastructure as well as real estate. He advises clients across the entire spectrum of services covering conceptualisation of the structure, establishment of relevant entities under the platform, preparation of documents (including shareholders agreements as well as platform/fund documentation), negotiations (inter se between partners as well as LP negotiations), seeking of necessary regulatory licenses, structuring of carried interest and related documentation, and other incidental services including ongoing operational matters customary to such bespoke structures.
